SCTB NORD Technical Department is constantly performing development work introducing new types of TE modules into the series production program in accordance with thermoelectric market up-to-date demands. At the moment NORD's complete product catalogue (General Specification) counts more than 100 types of modules different in terms of performance as well as dimensional parameters.
Another example of innovation made by NORD's development team is the introduction of special version of thermoelectric modules, so-called TMG-series (Thermoelectric Modules for Power Generation). TMG modules are aimed at a narrow field of specific and custom thermoelectric applications that require the highest operating figures and reliability values.
Considering specific conditions Peltier modules are forced to work in our Research and Development department has done its best to present our customers several methods of moisture condensation protection (additional information is available in Module moisture protection section).
All stages of manufacturing process are thoroughly inspected. Every Peltier module shipped to the customer passes a complex quality control of thermoelectric, electrical and geometrical parameters (additional information is displayed in Quality and reliability control section). Such sophisticated testing conditions allow NORD to guarantee full compliance with product Quality Certificate submitted to the customer.
In the course of a long-term scientific research NORD has developed and utilizes a wide range of different technologies and as a result is ready to offer high quality TE modules assembled on the base of zone melted and powder thermoelectric materials with the use of various solder types including lead-free one. Modules produced within these technologies are able to withstand and work under heavy thermo cycling conditions (M- and TMC-series modules) as well as increased temperatures (H-series modules).
